Since the beginning, was conceived for providing a high level of security and traceability. Each and every alteration in requests, tasks or dynamic content pages are registered, and they can be observed at any time.
The whole system permission control is based in profiles. Each profile has a group of permissions that controls the actions which the user can execute and the accessible information. For example: it can be controlled if the user is allowed to see the system’s requests or not. If not, only the ones placed by that user will be shown. This is useful when the worktop is being shared among outside clients. It is the project administrator’s duty to create the necessary profiles and associate them to the users. Each user may have a distinct profile in each of the projects the user participates.
The project administrator can, at any time, alter the permissions of a profile and/or block access of a user to a certain project, or even to the whole system, if permission is granted.
The system administrator can know when and from what IP address a certain user last accessed, can tell who is online at that moment or what users accessed the system on that day.
applies several security rules to assure that the users’ accounts won’t be violated, keeping this way the secrecy of placed information. All passwords are cryptographed. Not even the system administrator has access to them. The user who tries a wrong password more than 3 times is automatically blocked and a notification is sent by email.
The administrator can unblock the user if necessary. Besides, forces the frequent alteration of passwords.
